さすがだなぁ。どの曲もテイストが違うのに、南国の気持ちいい風にあたったような、温かい気持ちにさせてくれます。
特にお気に入りなのは「FLOWERS」。イントロから穏やかな優しい風に包まれたような気分になれて、思わずずっとリピートで聴き続けてしまいました。
朝からちょっと元気が出ないなぁ〜、という日にピッタリの曲です!!

プログレ然としたテクニカルさは残しつつも前作ほどこってり味付けではなく、よりまとまって洗練された感じがする、大作指向ではないこともあって、このアルバムで勝負にでたのかな？と思うくらいハード系のFMのパワープレイにはエントリーできそうな曲ばかり。

歌詞のちゃんと聞こえるブルータル系ヴォイスとハイトーン系クリアヴォイスのバランスは絶妙で洗練度、熟練度が増したのか、曲の作りもプログレッシヴでありながらコンパクト（ほとんどが３分台）、アルバムはあっという間ですが飽きません。ミックスやマスタリングはKILLSWITCH ENGAGEやNEVERMOREでもやっているANDY SNEAP、彼の影響も今作では多大なのでは。

好みはあるものの面白さやスリリングさは個人的には「Buried in Oblivion」の方がしっくりとくるのでアルバム唯一5分台の7曲目や曲間の短い8〜9曲目はドラマチックでヒットでした。

100,000年後の安全 [DVD]

淡々とした映画の進め方ですが、放射性核廃棄物処分の為に真剣に取り組むフィンランドの科学者たちの姿が伝わってきます。
原発推進国のフランスなどはようやく緒についたばかりのようですが、
日本としても直ちに真面目に考える必要がありそうです。
多くの人々に観て貰いたい内容です。

カナダのプログレ(デス)メタルバンド、イントゥ・エターニティの2nd。2001作
カナダらしいテクニカルなプログレメタルサウンドをデスメタル的なアグレッシブさと融合
重厚リフとメロディ、そして展開のバランスがセンスよく混在している。
哀愁を帯びたノーマル声の歌唱もなかなか魅力的だし、
やや唐突だが知性を感じる曲アレンジも、この後の3rdに受け継がれてゆく。
変態、というほどやりすぎでもないので、普通のプログレメタルリスナーにも受け入れられるとは思う。
